How can I order?

Ordering with us is super easy! Simply click the “Order Now” button on our homepage, give us a call on 01392 927788, or walk right in. Please bear in mind that due to the current pandemic we are limiting customer numbers in-store and are busier than usual – therefore if you are walking in at peak times we may ask you to come back a little later to collect your food. We strongly advise calling ahead or ordering online where possible to avoid disappointment.

You will not find Mr Choy on any third-party apps such as Just-Eat, Deliveroo or Uber Eats. Our drivers are directly employed by us which ensures that we can provide you with the best service possible from the moment you place your order, right up until it’s at your door. As we’re responsible for your order throughout every stage of its journey, you can rest assured that we’ll always be able to help you should you need to talk to us about your order.


Do you cater for dietary requirements?

Our menu is clearly labelled with Vegetarian, Vegan and Gluten Free options. Items with a Gluten Free option available carry a 50p surcharge due to the additional time and ingredients used to prepare these dishes. If you have any other dietary requirements please ask to speak to a manager when ordering.
Although we take every precaution available, please be aware that due to the nature of our kitchen operation we are unable to completely eliminate the possibility of cross-contamination between different ingredients. We do not have separate deep frying facilities for meat/allergen containing ingredients.



How long is the wait time?

Wait times vary depending on the day, time of ordering and size/type of order. As we are currently limiting customer numbers and volume within our kitchen, walk in/collection slots are restricted to 15-minute intervals. Wait times can therefore be as little as 10min, or surpass 40min at our busiest times*. Delivery times range from 30min at off-peak times and can reach 2hrs at our busiest times*. (*generally Fridays/Saturdays between 5-8pm).

If you are placing an order online, your estimated wait time will be shown on a second email which is sent once your order is accepted in the kitchen. Please look out for this and check your junk email folder if you have not received it. If you would like to know the wait time before placing an online order, simply give us a call on 01392 927788 where we can advise of current order volumes.



What Covid precautions are you taking?

Since the beginning of the pandemic, we’ve made a number of changes to the way we do things at Mr Choy.

These include:

  • Increased hygiene practises and provision of hand sanitiser throughout our premises
  • Removal of cash handling – we no longer accept cash as a form of payment
  • Pre-payment required for telephone collection orders, to minimise card terminal use by non-staff members
  • Staggered time slots for walk-in and collection orders, to effectively manage customer numbers in-store
  • Customers are asked to arrive alone to place/collect orders where possible
  • Contact-Free delivery as standard
